Hands-on Activities and Discovery Kits bring Nature to the Classroom

Located throughout San Diego County, the Discovery Program immerses students and teachers in nature related activities to learn about the science and history of the environment.  The program has assisted thousands of educators and their students explore the wealth of nature in their own backyards. Each Discovery Kit is customized to fit the special characteristics of the park. Each hands-on course includes:  Pre-field trip activities for classroom use, Hands-on field trip activities in the park, and Post-field trip activities for classroom and home use.
